Status: Widespread but declining summer visitor
Habitat: Woodland, parks and gardens.
Description: Rather elegant slim upright profile. Mouse-brown upperparts and pale, lightly streaked below. Sexes similar. Makes dashes after flying insects, often returning to the same perch.
