HERMITAGE OF SAINT QUITERY

This building is built with ashlar masonery. It has a nave covered with a forged of wood that maintains the tile roof. There is a choir on the feet that leans on logs. The cover is of arch of average point made of voussoirs with incisions that cross all the contour of the building. It was built in 1.748 .

In the inner of this hermitage it is conserved a painted altarpiece of wood which belongs to the century XVIII and it consists of a central niche in which the titular saint which gives name to the hermitage, Saint Quitery is located.

The day of Saint Quitery, the 22 of May, neighbors of Biscarrués go to the hermitage in a pilgrimage. Formerly, they also went at times of drought to request water to Saint Quitery .
