THE CHURCH OF SAINT MARY
The parochial church of San Felices is under the invocation of Saint Mary and it belongs to the delayed Romanesque one. It was modified in century XVI.
It has a single nave and an Romanesque arch to the entrance which is supported by capitals adorned with flowers locked up in three circles and a lion which is passing in his outer face, as well as leaves, adornments with a ship of pine-cone and the classic chequered in its interior.
It consists of a high altar and four lateral ones. The altarpiece of the high altar is popular and it has a plateresque inspiration. It was constructed in the middle of century XVI. The four lateral altars seem to have been built at the beginning of century XVIII.
The church is revoked with lime and painted with popular paintings of Rococo style. It is in a regular state although some partial repairings have been made in the last years.
