It is situated in the skirt of the hill in which is the Collegiate Church. It is a building left and in ruins. In it builds of different times can be distinguished. The oldest part of the building corresponds to prebytery which is smooth to its outside and its interior was limited by the greatest chapel. This church is a building of century XII.
It is constructed in ashlar masonry. It has one nave of two sections that were covered with reduced "encamonada" vault. Today the tiled roof does not exist. It leaned on some romanesque "modillones".
The door had four romanesque archivolts and on them there was an inscription with the date in which the hermitage was constructed, concretely the year 1.693. However in the interior of it another date of 1.705 is put and outside of the hermitage, in the North wall, you can see another inscription with 1.834. It is in this wall where they are embedded stones decorated coming from romanesque imposts.
The altarpiece of the hermitage is conserved in the Church of the Our Lady of the Solitude, in Bolea.
