MURILLO DE GÁLLEGO

Murillo de Gállego is a aragonese villa that belongs administratively to the province of Zaragoza and it is located in the right margin of the Gállego river.

Its urban nucleus is based on a slope and is occupied mainly by the small village and by the architecture of its church, half temple and half it watchtower. The church is covered with vault of tube, something pointed on fajones arcs and historical capitals. This work extended centuries later.

On the cruise it takes square cupola, ribbing and four vanes. The crypt is under the Presbytery.

In its municipal term we can also visit the hermitage dedicated to the Virgin of the Mountain range which has a rectangular nave and a flat head and it was constructed in ashlar masonry. It has a beautiful gothic cover. Dont forget to visit the Church of the Virgin of the Liena.
